Here in my car I feel safest of all...

Hey guys, lots of stuff have happened since I was last here, so sorry that I haven’t been able to update it. This is still the condensed version.

Well firstly, and most importantly, I got myself a car. It’s a nice midsized car, a black 2005 Nissan Sentra. Low mileage on it too, and runs great. Except for the fucking tires, which I have to get replaced. That sucks but everything else is a go with it. I’m super psyched about that, it’s got everything I want in a car, low gas mileage(26hw/20ct) it’s safe, handles great, it’s got good room in the backseat and the trunk, I do love the color, and it’s even got a cd/auxiliary in. 

It’s gonna be a pain to pay everything off but it’ll be good in the end. With the extra hours I’m going to work it will almost cover that, once I take care of everything. The down payment for the car and the insurance was a bitch, and these tires won’t help either, but I’ve got a car and it’s on the road. 

Other than that I have a mouthful of cavities, and a root canal so bad it has to be done in 2 days. That sucks but whatever, a week from Saturday I’ll have that taken care of. Well one of them, if I can afford it. 

Oh and the thing that most of you probably care about, I posted my new story, Devil in the Details, at FP, to little fanfare. Oh well, I enjoyed writing it, and I suppose that’s all that matters. It’s my entry for my Halloween challenge, and I’m glad to see that a lot of people decided to contribute something, I was starting to get worried that there wouldn’t be much of anything to be honest. There was a lot of interest in the challenge at first, but then after about 2 weeks or so nobody said a thing. Thank god there was a revival of interest there, or else it’d completely fail.
